The Implant Process
Free Consultation
A consultation offers the opportunity to ask questions and to develop a plan that addresses the specific needs of the patient.
Preliminary Treatment
Problems like gum disease, poor bone density, untreated injuries, or severely decayed teeth are treated first, so you are in the best condition before placement.
Implant Placement
A titanium post is inserted and anchored to the jawbone, then left to heal for between three and six months.
Abutment Placement
Once the post has integrated with the bone, an abutment connects the implant post and the dental crown.
Restored Smile
A customized crown is built to match your preferred color, size, and shape, then cemented or screwed into place.
