Oral Surgery at our Cherry Creek office
While the focus of dentistry is often to preserve the teeth, in some cases it is necessary to remove teeth in order to maintain optimal oral health, such as when wisdom teeth become impacted.
Wisdom tooth removal is a fairly common procedure. The area is numbed with a local anesthetic, a small incision exposes the tooth, the tooth is carefully removed, and the incision is closed with sutures. You go home with postoperative instructions.
